I’m kinda insane I think…

I keep changing my mind about this trip! Do I go to Bulgaria? Denmark? Switzerland? Hungary? Croatia? Netherlands? Czech Republic? I’ve been flipping about several times a day and I think I started annoying people a day ago already. (the idea of going at all only popped into my brain on Tuesday night) I’m just so excited to have a chance to actually experience a country I never expected to visit and have only heard a little of and I’m researching every one and falling in love with them all and I have no idea how to decide! Max and I will be gathering our thoughts on the subject and getting down to the decision making soon but I’m just having so much fun learning about all these places and their history and how much does a hostel cost? Is it peak season? Will I need a heavy coat? I’m a total freak! But I’m a very happy one :)

Obsession II

A good way to stop obsessing about the epic-tour was to start planning for Burningman. I found a good way to stop obsessing about Burningman too, I just decided to go to Europe in April! Figured it was cheaper than doing a beach like we did last year and the all-inclusive was fun and all but it didn’t feel like a real trip. With there being a stat and 2 weekends involved, we can spread the trip over 17 days and a couple countries which is pretty awesome. I also see it as a good way to prepare for the epic-tour by testing out the back-packs, practicing the packing, etc. in a place where we can’t get into too much trouble (carp, I just jinxed myself). I have friends who have recently moved to a neighbouring country that I can maybe visit and borrow couch space from and Max has some extended family kicking about. It’s nice to have a crazy random idea and realize it’s actually possible! Except for the part that Max might not get the time off work… I’ll keep you posted.
